Gregory is a licensed architect with over 29 years of professional architectural and business management experience, who has gained valuable expertise through his education and experience as a licensed RCS Building Inspector. His in-depth knowledge of complex code compliance, technical oversight, construction cost estimating, budgeting and public department regulations has earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
As a Co-Founder and the Managing Principal at Parette Somjen Architects LLC., Greg is responsible for interfacing with clients, while providing expert direction and oversight for Partners and Associates through all phases of project management, from design to construction drawing development to final occupancy. He combines a strong sense of style, a talent for organization and invaluable insight into complex building code issues.
In addition to his involvement in professional organizations, as a long-time member of the Dover Rotary Club, Greg received the Paul Harris Fellow Award in recognition of ‘service above self.’ Greg’s other civic involvements include coaching soccer, township recreation advisory board member and member of the Entrepreneurs Organization.
Greg received his Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. He is licensed in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Massachusetts, Nevada, and Texas. Greg is also a member of the NJ Society of Architects (NJAIA); the Building Owners and Managers Association of NJ (BOMA); the NJ Association of School Business Officials (NJASBO); and the Building Officials Association of NJ (BOANJ).
